I attended Lamar School until the 9th grade. At that point, I was homeschooled and earned a GED diploma on my 16th birthday. I immediately began my college career. I graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2007 with an Early Childhood Education degree.
I am certified to teach Pre-K-4th grade in general education and Pre-K-12th Special Education. I am also certified to teach English Language Learners.

I joined the Lamar High School team in 2014. I am a special education teacher and currently teach math in a resource setting for grades 9 – 12.
I began my teaching career as an Arkansas Better Chance preschool teacher. After 5 years, I gained 2 years of teaching Special Education Preschool.
My children keep me busy with multiple sports. I don’t have time for other hobbies, but when I get a chance, I like to crochet.
